When one thinks of summer, cool, flowy clothing comes to mind rather than thick leathers typically associated with fall and winter. While leather clothing in the summer is not common, that’s not to say it should be ruled completely out of your warm weather sartorial choices. After all, who doesn’t like a little added edge to their outfit via a dash of leather every now and then? The trick to wearing leather in the summer is not going overboard with it (note: leather is a heavy material and will have you sweltering if, for example, you wear a thick leather jacket) and finding pieces that are summer-friendly (bold colors, summery cuts, etc). So, how can one incorporate leather into their summer wardrobe? By taking on minimal leather accents such as leather mini shorts, leather accessories and summery leather skirts in bold designs!
